Ambassador (R) Dato’ M. Redzuan Kushairi
Ambassador (R) Dato’ M. Redzuan Kushairi, aged 62, Malaysian, is a Director of Denia. He graduated from University of Malaya in International Relations and History. He was later sent to Moscow State University to further his education in the Study of Russian Language. He later served in the Malaysian Diplomatic Service from 1972 to 1996. The last post held by him was as Malaysian Ambassador to Uzbekistan (concurrently accredited to Kyrgyz Republic) from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, he had also served as Deputy Permanent Representative at the Malaysian Mission to the United Nations, Deputy High Commissioner in the United Kingdom, Charge d’ Affaires in Ethiopia, First Secretary/Head of Chancery in Washington D.C., and Second Secretary in Moscow.
He was the Executive Chairman of Uzmacom from 1996 to 1999, and has since stayed on as a Director of the company. Uzmacom is a telecommunications operator in Uzbekistan. In 1999, he initiated and led the establishment of I-Net Technologies, a company specialising in wireless, digital subscriber lines, Home PNA (Home Phoneline Networking Alliance) products and engineering services. He then established JAS Mobile Solutions Sdn Bhd, an Application Service Provider for Mobile Location Services/ Location Based Services with its own Multi Positioning Gateway, Applications Server, Short Messaging Service and General Radio Packet Service gateway and digital maps. YBhg Dato’ Redzuan is also the Chairman of eVera Solutions Sdn Bhd, a company that specialises in electronic solutions for the public and private sectors and Wireless Systems including WiFi, MeshWiFi and convergence of 3G Network and WiFi/ MeshWiFi areas and hotspots.YBhg. Dato’ is currently part of the Panel of Advisors for Silverlake and a Director of Global Impact, a subsidiary of Silverlake and System Integrator for Silverlake. Silverlake is the largest Integrated Banking and Financial Solutions Provider in Asia including Islamic Banking, with over 1,000 employees and Development Centers in Malaysia, Singapore, United States, Sweden and Australia. In addition, YBhg Dato’ is also the Advisor to Multimedia Glory, a company specialising in biometrics smart cards with end-to-end Security Solution. MultiMedia Glory Biometrics Smart Cards and Solutions are used by the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Interior, Immigration and ID Cards for Foreign Workers and Students in Malaysia.
